On June 21, 2024, DataBank, a leading provider of retail colocation, connectivity, and managed services, announced its expansion with Megaport, a network-as-a-service provider, to offer Megaport services in its Denver and Chicago data center markets. This expansion allows DataBank customers to have private, direct access to major cloud service providers such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform. New customers in DataBank's DEN5 data center can benefit from the Megaport expansion by using Campus Cross Connects to reach their point of presence in DEN2. This expansion eliminates long provisioning lead times and provides customers with immediate access to services offered by carriers and service providers.
