AirTrunk, a hyperscale data center specialist in Asia-Pacific & Japan (APJ), announced the official opening of its new global headquarters in Sydney, Australia. Founded in Australia in 2015, AirTrunk has grown to have a platform of 11 data centers across seven cities and five markets, with over 1.4 gigawatts (GW) of total capacity, making it the largest data center company in the region outside of China. The new headquarters, designed to meet the evolving needs of AirTrunk’s team, aims to facilitate flexibility, collaboration, social connection, and a sense of community. It is also designed to achieve platinum-level WELLS certification to enhance employee wellbeing. The company has integrated technology throughout the workplace, including a three-story-high digital wall, state-of-the-art workstations, and immersive meeting rooms.
